Horizon Europe Grants 2026: Open Calls
Horizon Europe 2026 – the world’s largest research and innovation funding programme with a total budget of over €95 billion. Since Ukraine gained associated country status in 2022, Ukrainian organisations participate in calls on equal terms with institutions from EU member states. In 2026, more than 50 active calls are open across various thematic clusters, from health and digital technologies to agriculture and climate. Priority for Ukraine. The call is directly focused on post-conflict recovery of democratic institutions. In the wording of the challenge, the European Commission’s mandate explicitly references Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine as the context for strengthening democratic resilience.
