7 startup grants and accelerators: up to USD 220,000

Seven programmes where Ukrainian startups can get money, acceleration or cloud resources this autumn. Deadlines run from 21 October 2026 to 27 January 2027, and amounts range from EUR 10,000 in a bootcamp to USD 220,000 of support in the Techstars accelerator.

All seven are open to Ukrainian teams. Five European programmes admit Ukraine through its association to Horizon Europe, which includes EIT and EIC, while Techstars and the cloud programmes accept startups from any country.

The programmes are arranged by type of support: non-repayable EU grants and prizes first, then accelerators with funding, and finally resources without cash. A table with all dates follows the descriptions.

EU grants and prizes

AI Entrepreneurs Lab: up to EUR 10,000 in five days

EIT Community AI & Robotics runs an intensive five-day bootcamp for early-stage AI and robotics ventures. The best teams receive up to EUR 10,000. Applications close on 21 October 2026.

A practical note. The money is awarded on bootcamp results, and the application only gets you in. Apply if the team can step away fully for five days, because the founders’ presence and pace on site count for more than the pitch in the form.

FIERCE, second open call: up to EUR 50,000

The FIERCE project under Horizon Europe funds SMEs and startups that use space data for circular economy and green business. The amount reaches EUR 50,000, and applications close on 9 November 2026.

A practical note. This is cascade funding: a Horizon Europe project passes part of its budget on to small companies. No consortium and no long proposal are needed, so for a startup it is the shortest route to programme money.

EIT Food Proof of Concept: up to EUR 60,000 for a pilot

The food cluster of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology provides up to EUR 60,000 in co-financing for proof of concept, meaning pilot testing of a solution in the agrifood sector. The deadline is 30 November 2026.

A practical note. Co-financing means you cover part of the costs. Put your own contribution into the budget from the start, and line up a pilot partner, because the programme will not fund testing without a real site.

EIC prize for young women founders: up to EUR 50,000

The European Innovation Council awards a prize of up to EUR 50,000 to young women who founded or co-founded a technology company. Applications close on 1 December 2026.

Accelerators with funding

Techstars London Accelerator: up to USD 220,000

Techstars recruits early-stage technology startups from around the world into its London programme. Participants receive up to USD 220,000 in support, together with mentorship and access to an investor network. The deadline is 18 November 2026.

A practical note. Techstars invests in exchange for equity, so you pay for this money with a stake, as with any investor. Before applying, check that the team is ready for an investor on the cap table and that agreements with earlier investors allow it.

EIT Food Seedbed: up to EUR 30,000 plus acceleration

The Seedbed Venture Catalyst programme from EIT Food provides up to EUR 30,000 per team and runs an acceleration programme with mentoring and business model validation with real customers. The deadline is 27 January 2027.

Resources instead of cash

Cloud credits 2026: from USD 1,000 to 350,000

AWS, Google and other cloud providers give startups infrastructure credits. A bootstrapped team with a working product can collect around USD 18,000 in credits with no investor on the cap table, while a venture-backed company can reach USD 350,000. The programmes run on a rolling basis.

A practical note. Credits from different providers stack: basic packages from several platforms at once add up to more than a single large one. The larger amounts open through partner accelerators and funds, so a place in Techstars or EIT Food raises the cloud ceiling too.
